I’ve numbered the screenshot below to explain a few extra details that you’ll find useful in addition to the tutorial I’ve linked to above.
- Drag an eNews Extended widget in to Front-Page-6 widget area
- Type your title in the title box
- This is a simple paragraph wrapped in paragraph tags
- This is another simple paragraph wrapped in paragraph tags
- This line of text is wrapped in strong tags to make the text bold
- This line of text is wrapped in a span tag with a class of small-disclaimer
The Genesis Simple FAQ plugin and widget
To use the FAQ widget you will first need to install and activate the Genesis Simple FAQ plugin
Make some FAQs
- Go to Dashboard > Simple FAQs > Add New
- Type your question in the Title box (required).
- Type your answer into the Content Editor (required).
- Click publish.
The demo site has six FAQs.
You can organise your FAQs into categories if you wish. But categories are optional and for this tutorial we won’t be using them.
Displaying the FAQs in Front-Page-6 widget area
After making six FAQs…
- Drag the Genesis Simple FAQ widget into the Front-Page-6 widget area.
- Type a widget title.
You don’t need to make any other adjustments to the Genesis Simple FAQ widget settings, it should just work out of the box.
There are several settings that you can make to the Simple FAQs widget if you wish. But to keep this tutorial simple, we’re going to stick with the stock settings.
